Meet Your Doctor

Dr. Morar completed his fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Cleveland Clinic in 2005. Since then he has performed over 25,000 Image-guided Interventional Radiology procedures including over 1000 complex embolization procedures such as the new Hembo™ procedure. He is proud and fortunate to have never had a major complication from any embolization procedure. Moreover, he was one of the first physicians in the world to publish a research paper on the topic of embolization of a hemorrhoid artery for bleeding as early as 2005.

As an Interventional Radiologist, he is extremely passionate about embolization procedures and therefore sought out doing his fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, which at that time had one of the largest teaching experiences for such embolization-type procedures. Dr. Morar takes embolization procedures very seriously and has helped advance this field by being one of the first physicians in the nation to perform the left gastric artery embolization procedure for weight loss. He also published the first peer-reviewed research article  in the world on this procedure as a Co-Author.

Having suffered from hemorrhoids and having the Hembo™ procedure himself, he is very passionate about this new treatment option which he has coined “Hembo™” and hopes to now promote nationwide. He believes that, if there is a viable alternative, where a patient can avoid an uncomfortable anal procedure, then Hembo™ should be offered to appropriate patients as an alternative.
